At Steet Toyota, we’re proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in our community. Recently, we had the honor of sponsoring and golfing in the 26th Annual Lupus Charity Golf Classic, an incredible event dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support lupus programs. This year’s tournament was a tremendous success, raising an amazing $207,262 to help fund programs and services for individuals and families affected by lupus. We’re proud to have played a part in supporting such an important cause. Representing Steet Toyota at the tournament were Greg Wrate, Jerry Reginelli, Jason Coleman and Dom Panzone, who hit the links for a great day of golf, camaraderie and giving back. Events like the Lupus Charity Golf Classic are a wonderful reminder of what can happen when businesses, organizations and community members come together behind a shared cause. The funds raised will help support valuable programs and resources for those impacted by lupus. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s tournament such a success and proud to support an event that gives back in such a meaningful way. There’s nothing better than a beautiful summer day on the golf course with great people—and this year’s Steet Ponte Auto Group Annual Golf Tournament delivered all of that and more! This year, our annual tournament was held at Holland Heights Golf Course in Herkimer, NY, bringing together team members and friends from across the Steet Ponte Auto Group for a day of golf, food, prizes and plenty of fun. We were proud to have representation from all of our Steet Ponte stores, along with several of the businesses we’re fortunate to work with throughout the year, including New Hartford Window Cleaning and Zeibart. It was a great opportunity to step away from the dealerships, enjoy some friendly competition and spend time together outside of the office. A huge thank-you goes to Barb Mazzotta of Steet Ponte Mazda, who coordinated this year’s tournament and put together an incredible day for everyone who attended. From the moment golfers hit the course, there was something to look forward to! Golfers were treated to hot dogs and hamburgers at the turn, a drink tent to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day, and tons of prizes provided by our manufacturers and Steet Ponte stores. In fact, everyone went home with something! And, of course, the day wasn’t complete without a great meal. After finishing up on the course, everyone gathered for dinner at Holland Heights, giving us the perfect opportunity to relax, share some laughs and wrap up an unforgettable day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of people to spend the day with. Events like this are a great reminder of what makes the Steet Ponte Auto Group special—not only the dealerships and brands we represent, but the people who make up our team and the business relationships we’ve built throughout our community. We also want to give a special shoutout to Valerie Rinaldi of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln for helping make this event such a success! At Steet Toyota of Yorkville, giving back to the community we call home is something we’re proud to do year after year. For our 3rd Annual School Supplies & Backpack Drive, the Steet Ponte Auto Group came together to donate an incredible 576 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in our local communities. Backpacks were filled with everything from folders and crayons to glue sticks, scissors, pencils and more. Our goal was simple: help make sure students have the supplies they need to walk into the classroom feeling prepared, motivated and confident. The six Steet Ponte stores located on Commercial Drive in Yorkville were proud to donate to the Utica City School District this year. We’re incredibly grateful to be able to support local students and families and hope these backpacks help make the start of a new school year just a little brighter. At Steet Toyota, community has always been at the heart of what we do. That's why we were honored to once again sponsor a Minor B Baseball team in New Hartford this season, continuing a tradition that spans more than 30 years. Our connection to New Hartford youth baseball goes back to when Joe Steet Jr. first stepped onto the field as a tee-ball player three decades ago. Since then, the Steet family has proudly sponsored a team every year, supporting local athletes as they learn the game, build friendships, and develop important life skills through sports. This year's team made us incredibly proud. Throughout the season, these young athletes gave their all on the field. We enjoyed cheering them on, watching their confidence grow, and seeing their skills improve game after game. From the first practices of the season to the final out, the boys demonstrated teamwork, determination, sportsmanship, and a true love for the game. One of the highlights of the season came after the final game, when we revived a special tradition from Joe Jr.'s playing days. Years ago, when his season wrapped up, the team celebrated with ice cream courtesy of the dealership. This year, we were excited to bring that tradition back and treat the entire team to ice cream after their last game. The smiles, laughter, and memories shared by the players and their families reminded us exactly why supporting youth sports is so important. These programs help build confidence, encourage teamwork, and create lasting memories that extend far beyond the baseball diamond. We want to thank the coaches, parents, volunteers, and league organizers who dedicate so much time and effort to making youth baseball possible in our community. Most importantly, congratulations to our Minor B team on a fantastic season! We couldn't be more proud of what these boys accomplished this year, both on and off the field. Watching them grow throughout the season was a privilege, and we're already looking forward to next year. At Steet Toyota of Yorkville, supporting local youth programs and community traditions is something that has always been important to us. That’s why we are proud to once again sponsor a New Hartford Little League Minor B baseball team for the 2026 season! This year, our team had the opportunity to attend the New Hartford Little League Opening Ceremony, which brought together players, coaches, families, and teams from all leagues throughout New Hartford for a memorable kickoff to the season. The event began with the young players proudly marching from the Little League field to the Varsity Field in New Hartford. One of the most exciting moments of the ceremony was watching the New Hartford Varsity baseball team high-five all of the younger players as they entered the field — creating a special moment the kids will never forget. From there, each team was introduced over the loudspeakers while families and friends cheered from the stands, followed by team photos to capture the excitement of Opening Day. The first games of the season have already been so much fun to watch, and we are looking forward to another exciting summer of baseball, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit. Supporting New Hartford Little League is a tradition that runs deep for our dealership. In fact, fun fact — Steet Toyota of Yorkville has sponsored a Little League team every single year since one of our owners, Joe Steet Jr., played tee ball himself over 30 years ago! The Steet Ponte Auto Group team traded in the showroom floors for the ski slopes on Sunday, March 1st, as employees from across all of our dealerships gathered for our 6th Annual Company Ski & Snowboard Trip at beautiful Gore Mountain in North Creek, NY. This annual tradition has become a favorite event for our team, giving everyone the chance to step away from the busy winter sales season and enjoy a day outdoors together. Employees spent the day skiing and snowboarding across the mountain, taking in the incredible views and enjoying some of the best conditions of the season. After a winter filled with epic snowfall, the trails at Gore Mountain were in fantastic shape. Combined with the spring-like weather and sunshine, it made for a perfect day on the mountain. Whether team members were seasoned skiers or just getting comfortable on the slopes, everyone had a great time enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Midday, the group gathered for lunch at The Tannery Restaurant, where everyone warmed up, shared stories from the slopes, and enjoyed a relaxing break before heading back out for more skiing in the afternoon. Events like our annual ski trip are a great reminder of how special the Steet Ponte Auto Group team truly is. We’re proud to create opportunities for our employees from all eight stores to connect, build friendships, and make memories outside of work. Steet Toyota was proud to host our 2nd Annual Paws for a Cause event, and this year’s gathering was bigger, better, and even more heartwarming than the first. Partnering once again with the incredible team at Freedom Guide Dogs, the event brought our community together to support an organization dedicated to changing lives. For decades, Freedom Guide Dogs has provided highly trained guide dogs to individuals who are blind or visually impaired and to veterans in need of mobility assistance. Their work empowers people with independence, confidence, and companionship, something we were honored to help celebrate and support. A Longstanding Connection with Toyota Over the past three decades, Freedom Guide Dogs has purchased countless Toyota Sienna vans to help transport their puppies and working dogs safely and comfortably. The spacious interior, reliability, and versatility of the Sienna make it an ideal vehicle for transporting training groups, equipment, and of course the stars of the show—the future guide dogs themselves. It’s a partnership built on trust, reliability, and a shared commitment to helping people live fuller, more independent lives. Meet the Future Guide Dogs This year’s event featured 10 adorable Labrador Retriever puppies who are currently training to become future guide dogs. Guests also had the opportunity to meet their proud father, Hutch, along with Seymour, an experienced guide dog who demonstrated the incredible skills these dogs learn throughout their training. Seeing these puppies up close was a highlight for everyone who attended, and a powerful reminder of the dedication and training that goes into preparing guide dogs for their life-changing roles. An Interactive Experience for Attendees One of the most impactful parts of the day was an interactive obstacle course hosted by Freedom Guide Dogs. Participants were invited to wear blindfolds and navigate the course with Seymour, experiencing firsthand the trust and teamwork required between a guide dog and their handler. It was an eye-opening experience that helped attendees better understand the importance of guide dogs and the remarkable work organizations like Freedom Guide Dogs perform every day.
