We had a great turnout for the Toyota Tundra Ride & Drive Event hosted by Toyota USA & Steet Toyota of Yorkville!! The Ride & Drive was held from Friday, September 9th-Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at Bass Pro Shops on Horatio Street in Utica, NY and saw over 500 attendees, with 244 who test drive and an additional 354 who stopped by to check out the vehicles in person! Toyota gave us FIVE of the Tundra models to test drive including the Toyota Tundra SR5, Toyota Tundra Limited, Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition, Toyota Tundra Hybrid TRD Pro AND the beautiful Toyota Tundra Capstone. Also on hand were static models of the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid, Toyota Highlander, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, and Toyota Camry.
It was an excellent weekend with weather in the high 80’s and not a cloud in the sky! We went down on Friday to see a steady stream of customers driving and checking out the vehicles, and we even test drove the Capstone edition. The Capstone contains so many amazing features including a backup camera in the rearview mirror, sun shades, heated and cooled rear seats and enough space for your entire family to be comfortable. As an added bonus, participants 18+ were able to receive a complimentary Toyota branded gift or a $10 Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s Gift Card just for taking a test drive! We were so excited to provide our customers with this opportunity as we know it’s been nearly impossible to take a test drive recently, and this was a great weekend to do so.
