We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to our Sales Manager, Brian Mathias, on his recent graduation from the National Auto Dealers Association Dealer Academy! The Dealer Academy is a rigorous, year-long course for employees within a car dealership. The employee must apply to the program, and be sponsored by the dealer principal to be accepted. This is the 44th year the program has graduated a program, and the 473rd class that has graduated! The academy headquarters is located in Tysons Corner, VA, but since the pandemic, the course is now offered online as well. 
 

Thank you to everyone who donated to our 10th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive!! This year, our donations went to the Compassion Coalition right here in Utica, NY. We donated 1,881 food items to benefit this wonderful food pantry right here in Oneida County!

It’s our TENTH Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive going on now at all of the stores in the Steet Ponte Auto Group! Each year, we donate our food donations to different local organizations and food pantries. This year, our food donations are going to the Compassion Coalition in Utica, NY.. Their mission is to continue to be a vital resource by nourishing our community in body, mind and spirit.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1st and 2nd our 5th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive came to an end after a month long drive! We donated all of our winter coats, snow pants, hats, gloves and scarf donations to the Utica, Rome, Herkimer, CVA, Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary School Districts! We were blown away this year, as this is a bit of a milestone year for this Coat Drive. Together with all 8 of our locations, we donated 675 articles of winter clothing including coats, along with snow pants, hats, gloves and scarves.
 

Happy Halloween from all of us at the Steet Ponte Auto Group! This year was our 9th Annual Halloween Costume Contest!! We had a blast dressing up on Monday getting into the Halloween spirit in Yorkville, Hekrimer, and Johnstown! Each year, we make it a contest for those who have dressed up, giving away 8 cash prizes for different categories.

Thanks to all who participated and made having Halloween on a work day fun for everyone! We can’t wait to see what our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest brings this year!!

October 1st-November 1st, 2022: The cold weather is coming, and we're holding our 5th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive at all of the stores in the Steet Ponte Auto Group! 

Items needed: coats, snow pants, hats, scarves and mittens sizes 5T-Kids XL. 



 

We had a great turnout for the Toyota Tundra Ride & Drive Event hosted by Toyota USA & Steet Toyota of Yorkville!! The Ride & Drive was held from Friday, September 9th-Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at Bass Pro Shops on Horatio Street in Utica, NY and saw over 500 attendees, with 244 who test drive and an additional 354 who stopped by to check out the vehicles in person! Toyota gave us FIVE of the Tundra models to test drive including the Toyota Tundra SR5, Toyota Tundra Limited, Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition, Toyota Tundra Hybrid TRD Pro AND the beautiful Toyota Tundra Capstone…

It’s almost that time of the year!! Our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest is being held on the day of our Holiday Lunch Party on . We’re so excited to see what kind of turnout we have this year! Winners from the following categories will be chosen by none other than Joe Steet Sr. and Steve Ponte Sr. for: Funniest, Best DIY, Most Holiday Spirit, Most Unique, Best Pop Culture, Joe’s Favorite, Steve’s Favorite, Ugliest Ugly Sweater.

It’s the holiday season and the season of giving. That’s why we’d like to help the Connected Community School Organization. We are collecting NEW items to give to the students in these school districts for the holiday season this year! We are collecting new winter clothing, hats, mittens, scarves, new gifts, new toys, and even gift cards! ALL proceeds are going directly to the students in the entire Rome, NY, Dolgeville, NY, Waterville, NY, Oneida, NY, Camden, NY, Little Falls, NY, and Whitesboro, NY school districts to students in need during this time of year.
