Sunday, 12 February, 2023 We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to our Sales Manager, Brian Mathias, on his recent graduation from the National Auto Dealers Association Dealer Academy! The Dealer Academy is a rigorous, year-long course for employees within a car dealership. The employee must apply to the program, and be sponsored by the dealer principal to be accepted. This is the 44th year the program has graduated a program, and the 473rd class that has graduated! The academy headquarters is located in Tysons Corner, VA, but since the pandemic, the course is now offered online as well. For an entire year, Brian undertook 4 hour classes, 2 days a week with many long hours of homework assignments, discussion boards, and group projects. He said he thoroughly enjoyed the process, and getting a better understanding of the departments that he doesn’t normally work in as the course goes through the inner-workings of a dealership, with each unit covering a different department of the store. He had a great group of men he worked with on projects throughout the year, that he looks forward to staying in contact with as this has provided a great networking opportunity for him! We are so proud of his accomplishments and look forward to seeing what ideas and strategies he is able to implement within Steet Toyota of Yorkville!

Wednesday, 22 December, 2021 It’s almost that time of the year!! Our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest is being held on the day of our Holiday Lunch Party on Thursday, December 23rd. We’re so excited to see what kind of turnout we have this year! Winners from the following categories will be chosen by none other than Joe Steet Sr. and Steve Ponte Sr. for: Funniest, Best DIY, Most Holiday Spirit, Most Unique, Best Pop Culture, Joe’s Favorite, Steve’s Favorite, Ugliest Ugly Sweater. There will also be a winner for MOST liked photo on all of our Facebook pages in the Auto Group! Tune in to our Facebook and Instagram accounts, as all photos will be posted by Christmas Eve!

Friday, 20 March, 2020 February, 2020 marked our 25th ANNIVERSARY!! In the photos below, Joe Steet Sr. & Steve Ponte Sr., along with their wives who have helped immensely along the way, accepted the 25 Year Award presented by Toyota's General Manager, Briana Nelson in Naples, Florida for Toyota's annual Winter Tri-Dealer's Association Advertising Meeting! But first, we wanted to thank everyone who has gotten us to where we are today! We wouldn’t have been able to be this successful without the support of our customers, new and old, and even more amazing staff over the years! We’re proud to say that we have many “original” staff members that are still with us from the day we purchased this business, and have retired many more from all departments: Office, Service, Parts, and Sales: Lynn, Linda, Ralph, Dewey, Pete, Doug, Don, we miss you all! We are a true family business in every sense of the word. The Steet kids grew up here, having been 3 and 6 when the store was purchased, and their favorite memories were going to visit their dad at work, type on the typewriters (yes, we used typewriters) and shred papers with the girls in the office. Many have said it, and we’re happy we’re not the only ones who have felt it, but Steet Toyota has a home-y feel to it. Everyone feels like family, and we strive every day to live up to our motto and make every transaction as easy and enjoyable as possible. Thursday, 05 December, 2019 As our first ever Coats for Kids Coat Drive comes to an end, we would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time and money to donate a coat for our local children in need. As a family owned and operated business, we know the importance of helping our community, and of course families in need. We raised donations for the Utica, NY and Rome, NY Pre-K to 6th grade School Districts. We have been blown away by the generosity of our customers, staff members, family, friends, and anyone who decided to brave walking into a car dealership to donate a coat!! If you haven't donated yet, there is STILL TIME! We are open until 8pm tonight, coats will be donated starting at 10am tomorrow, Friday, December 6th.
