1. SR5

The entry SR5 comes with impressive standard features, including a power moonroof, 18-inch silver-painted alloy-wheels, and LED headlights and taillights. Under the hood, it has an i-FORCE MAX Twin-Turbo V6 hybrid engine that puts you in control of 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque while averaging up to a manufacturer-estimated 24 MPG on the highway. This model can tow 9,520 lbs. and is available with a choice of rear-wheel drive or part-time 4-wheel drive.

Inside its cabin, the 8-passenger SR5 has heated front seats and separate climate controls for the driver, front passenger, and rear passengers. It assists the driver in staying safe on the road with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5’s driver assistance features, plus a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to detect nearby vehicles. Convenience features include rain-sensing windshield wipers and Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging. The Platinum also includes a 14-speaker JBL audio system for premium sound quality.

4. TRD Pro

Made for off-road travel, the TRD Pro comes with standard part-time 4-wheel drive and an electronically controlled locking rear differential. It has an increased ground clearance of 9.1 inches, so you can travel over uneven terrain more easily. Its Multi-Terrain Monitor shows you the terrain around and under your Sequoia, and Multi-Terrain Select lets you choose from five modes to optimize traction. The TRD Pro also has unique styling, including 18-inch matte-black wheels and a black heritage grille.

5. Capstone

Adding to the Platinum’s premium features, the Capstone is the Sequoia’s most luxurious trim, with semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats and walnut wood-grain interior trim. Outside, it has 22-inch dark chrome alloy wheels and a chrome-accented mesh grille. It also features a 10-inch color Head-Up Display that displays information like vehicle speed on the windshield.
