6 Highlights of the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser
If you’re searching for the quintessential adventure vehicle, look no further than the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser. Whether you’re already an off-road expert or just getting started, this legendary midsize SUV has all the capability you need for an unforgettable journey.
1. Historical Style
While the 2025 Land Cruiser boasts modern features and technology to meet contemporary drivers’ needs, it also honors its roots by incorporating heritage-inspired circular LED headlights on the base 1958 model, a black heritage grille, and a rear Land Cruiser badge. Mud guards are standard, as are mounted tow hooks on the front and rear frame and a front skid plate.
2. Hybrid Powertrain
The Land Cruiser comes with a standard 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid engine with an output of 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, so you know it can take you wherever your heart desires. The 288-volt battery is sealed for protection, and an eight-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode controls the power on both models.
3. Off-Road Readiness
The full-time four-wheel drive system includes Active Traction Control and a locking limited-slip center differential to help keep you going through rough terrain. Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and an electronically controlled locking rear differential are also standard, while Drive Mode Select lets you adjust performance between Sport, Eco, Normal, and Snow modes. There’s also a Multi-Terrain Select system with Auto, Dirt, Sand, Mud, Rock, and Deep Snow modes for the top Land Cruiser model.
4. Cargo and Towing Capacities
With 46.2 cubic feet of room behind the second row, you can pack plenty of gear, and folding the rear seats down opens the space up to 81 cubes for larger loads. The 2025 Land Cruiser also handles towing like a pro, with a standard integrated towing receiver hitch, wiring harness, and a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 lbs.
5. Upscale Interior
Toyota knows that superior capability deserves an equal level of interior comfort and demonstrates this by equipping the Land Cruiser with standard heated front seats with six-way manual adjustments, 12 cup and bottle holders throughout the cabin, a leather-trimmed shift lever, and a three-zone automatic front and rear climate control system with a separate control panel for the second row.
6. Modern Technology
An 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration is standard in the Land Cruiser 1958, while the top model gets a 12.3-inch version and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Both models also feature six USB ports and a 2400-watt AC inverter.

The Steet Ponte Auto Group was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the First Annual Putts for a Purpose Charity Golf Tournament, held on Friday, June 27th at Pine Hills Golf Club in Frankfort, NY. What began with a goal of raising $10,000 for local charities quickly turned into a huge community win—over $11,000 was raised during this incredible day on the course!
Organized by Scott and Kelly Grates, hosts of the Love Living Local 315 podcast, the tournament was designed to spotlight and support the heart of our community—local charities and small businesses that often fly under the radar but make a major impact. Love Living Local 315 has become a must-listen for anyone who wants to discover hidden gems and meaningful stories across the Mohawk Valley.
We were thrilled to not only sponsor this event but also to send a team of our own out to participate in the tournament. Representing the Steet Ponte Auto Group were:

One of the highlights of this tournament was that half of the funds raised—$5,500—will be donated to the MVHS Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network division, a cause very close to the Steet family’s heart. The Steet family has proudly supported the Children’s Miracle Network since 1989. This national nonprofit works to raise funds for local children’s hospitals to help provide critical treatments, equipment, and services to children in need—ensuring that kids across the region have access to the best possible care, close to home.

On Sunday, June 29th, we were honored to present four MVP Awards to standout athletes in the NFL Mohawk Valley Flag Football League during their annual Awards Banquet held at Hilltop Fields in Frankfort, NY.
Our very own Brian Mathias, Sales Manager at Steet Toyota and a former football player himself, had the pleasure of handing out the MVP trophies to four incredible student-athletes who demonstrated leadership, skill, and sportsmanship all season long. It was an inspiring night, full of proud moments for players, families, and coaches alike.
We’re also proud to have sponsored a team in the league this year and to support what has become one of the fastest-growing youth sports programs in our area. As we shared in a previous post, the NFL Mohawk Valley Flag Football League has grown by over 40% year-over-year, and this past season saw over 150 girls joining the league—highlighting how inclusive and impactful this program has become.
The passion, teamwork, and community spirit that flag football brings to our region is something we’re truly proud to stand behind. The Steet Ponte Auto Group was proud to once again support one of our favorite community events: Wine in the Wilderness at the Utica Zoo! Held on a beautiful Saturday evening, June 7th, the event welcomed over 1,000 guests for a night of wine tasting, food, music, and wild animal encounters.
As the official Designated Driver Sponsor, we were thrilled to help promote safe and responsible fun by handing out $15 Uber gift cards to the first 100 attendees who pledged to be a designated driver. Helping guests get home safely is a mission we take seriously, and we’re proud to continue making that possible through events like this.
It was a perfect night at the Zoo—and the atmosphere was made even more exciting with the debut of their brand new dinosaur exhibit! The lifelike animatronic dinosaurs were a huge hit and are a must-see for kids and adults alike.
