At Steet Toyota of Yorkville, we love celebrating remarkable local talent—especially when they’re gaining global recognition. We are thrilled to have sponsored Lauren Steates Cupp, the #1 women’s speedgolfer in the world, as she competed in the NYS Speedgolf Sprint, held right here at Rome Country Club!

What makes this even more special? Although she and our Steet family share only similar names—not relations—they all grew up together in New Hartford, making this a hometown connection we’re truly proud of.

What Is Speedgolf?

Speedgolf is an exhilarating fusion of golf and running. The goal is simple: complete 18 holes as fast as possible—running the course while bearing your clubs—and record just how quickly you do it.

Lauren is not just any competitor—she’s dominated the sport across the globe. Her accolades are truly impressive:
